Not only that, but prices were very reasonable. A brake fluid flush and fill cost me $89.99, while JUST a flush at my past mechanic cost me $99.99, without a fill.
Fake service. I never go back again.

Of course we are not new to Texas, i know what is state inspection is for. After you failed the inspection i took my car to costco and checked it out and was told they are not due yet again checked with my BMW show room and was told the same.
I wanted to find a different auto shop than my current one because I wasn't happy with the pricing so I looked around and choose Samstone. I wanted to like this place. I prefer little "mom and pop" type Service Stations because my father is a auto shop and tow service owner in Minnesota. I prefer to give little shops my patronage. Pascal and his tech were really friendly and seemed knowledgeable. Customer Service was great, prices were as expected. The facilities needed updating but they were fine and reminded me of my dad's shop.
I have an old car... And this place is the best for it... The team is great. .. They are honest and reliable. .. I wish to have better memory for names... I think for sure Pascal and Roger... Are the head of the team... Thanks guys!
By the way I did my state inspection with Christian brothers and it is passed. I dont think all are them wrong. thank you for wrong diagnosis, and you didn't even mention why it is failed? I wish i get my money back from you.
I was so glad he showed me and thankful that he physically pointed out and explained the problems to me rather than just telling me.
My car wouldn't pass state inspection and these guys went out of their way to help me understand what was wrong with my car, and what they were going to do to fix it. They even let me come out in the shop and see each problem they were explaining to me so I could feel 100% confident in the repairs being done to my car. Every single person I talked to was nice and professional, and I found their rates to be very reasonable. I will definitely be bringing my car back here! Thanks guys!

BUT! I needed my car inspected and an oil change as well as a general look over, I also asked him to check my tire. The check tire pressure light came on the morning I brought the car in. I mentioned it seemed to be a pinhole leak. After the service he went over a couple replacements/repairs that needed to be done and they were expected for the milage my car was at; belt, cabin filter, tranny fluid. Again all expected. But Pascal didn't mention the tire, I had to bring it up. He shrugged and said "nah it's fine. Just low pressure. We took care of it." I was hesitant but heck I'm not the mechanic so I trusted him.
WELL several hours later while I was working. The damn light came on. I pulled over and got out of my car. There was a hissing sound and I watched as my tire went flat. "It's fine" my ass!! I lost an hour and a half of work and wasted that time trying to change the damn thing. I am so frustrated right now! This could have been prevented if they actually checked my tire for a leak. Tomorrow morning I will be at Samstone tossing down my flat and seeing how they can correct there mistake. Not happy at all...
Came here for my state inspection, after the inspection Pascal took me out into the shop to show me that my brake fluid was a greenish black and my driving belts were torn, something that the place I had been going to get oil changes had neglected to check!
