Their property theft policy is a JOKE! My law firm will be taking our bi-yearly corporate retreats elsewhere. Thanks for your consideration HILTON WORLDWIDE!
During a extended stay at the Home 2 Suites in San Antonio Texas, my son who is in the UNITED STATES AIR FORCE left his Xbox game and Beats headphones in his hotel room. When he returned to the room these items were missing. He contacted the General Manager to report his items missing and also called the police to make a police report. On January 8th 2013 The General Manager( GINA REESE) told him she had not had the chance to investigate his stolen property I called Hilton's Corporate Office to file a complaint to my surprise I was told that it is POLICY that if items are missing from your room HILTON is not responsible for stolen property. In fact you are to take anything you feel is of value with you, put in the small safe, or place in the hotel safe. In other words, if you leave a evening gown in the closet that your are expecting to wear for a formal event and the housekeeper steals it, IT"S YOUR FAULT!! you should have taken it with you.. JUST UNREAL!!!

WAY TO SUPPORT THE MILITARY HILTON! We are in town for a military class and called on a Tuesday night to make reservations. My husband's father had a heart attack in the middle of the night and I called Wednesday morning at 10am to cancel. He is in intensive care and we need to go back home asap. They're making me pay $200 for one of the nights even though the reservations were made less than 12 hours ago. Bad business practice.
